The Tom'sline AMX-3 Matchbox DI pedal allows you to connect your guitar to a PA, match impedance with recording and also be used to re-amp guitar signals. It's a simple pedal layout with the jack and XLR inputs on the sides as you'd expect and a case constructed with aluminium alloy to withstand heavy onstage stomping.
The Tom'sline AMX-3 Matchbox DI guitar pedal's main use is to match line level or instrument level sources such as guitars and keyboards to mic inputs. It has a ground level switch for eliminating hum, a gain switch to increase or decrease the signal and a 'cab sim' for when you want to run your guitar directly into a PA in a live scenario.
The AMX-3 Matchbox DI also features both an XLR balanced our for hooking up to mixing desks and recording interfaces as well as a traditional unbalanced output if you want your signal to go to both amplifier and desk/recording interface. The AMX-3 Matchbox DI is intuitive to use, set up is a breeze allowing you to concentrate on the show.
Pedalboard Friendly Size
The LED indicator is bright enough to be seen on the darkest of stages and the metal stop bar is really handy and the footprint of the AMX-3 Matchbox DI is minimal so it will fit on any board. It requires a 9V power supply for operation and included in the box is some 3M velcro hook and loop so you can stick it on your board straight away and get stuck in.
