The Tom'sline AOS-3 Octpus Polyphonic Octave guitar pedal is a versatile pedal that gives you extra octaves, high and low that will transform the sound of your guitar. It's a simple pedal layout with the jack inputs on the sides as you'd expect and a case constructed with aluminium alloy to withstand heavy onstage stomping.
The Tom'sline AOS-3 Octpus has three knobs to allow you to scope your sound, 'Oct1' controls the lower octave and 'Oct2' the higher. The 'dry' knob allows you to mix your original guitar signal with the octaves so you can have a subtle backing or go for pure low / high-end sound, great for both hard riffing and lead licks.
There is a three-way toggle switch, options for 'top', 'both' and 'bottom' so you can customise exactly how much you want to hear. With 'both' engaged you get the high and low octaves at the same time for some serious sonic snarl or you can choose to have just low/high. The AOS-3 Octpus is also True Bypass os it won't colour your sound whilst disengaged.
Pedalboard Friendly Size
The LED indicator is bright enough to be seen on the darkest of stages and the metal stop bar is really handy, preventing you from knocking the knobs with your foot whilst playing, as well as protecting them from any heavy-footed stomping.
The footprint of the AOS-3 Octpus is minimal so it will fit on any board and requires a 9V power supply for operation. Included in the box is some 3M velcro hook and loop so you can stick it on your board straight away and get stuck in.
