The Tom'sline APE-3 Pure Echo Digital Delay guitar pedal is a compact and versatile pedal for creating large, delay-filled soundscapes. It's a simple pedal layout with the jack inputs on the sides as you'd expect and a case constructed with aluminium alloy to withstand heavy onstage stomping.
The Tom'sline APE-3 Pure Echo has three knobs to help you scope your sound, 'level' changes the amount of effect you hear, 'regen' controls how many times the delay repeats and 'time' changes the frequency of the repeats. The layout is very intuitive, meaning you spend less time figuring out and more time playing. The APE-3 Pure Echo is also True Bypass so it won't colour your tone when disengaged.
There is a three-way toggle switch, giving you a great variety of sounds. The 'echo' setting gives you a vintage, tape delay style sound, 'mod' adds modulation to the repeats which broaden the tonal scope and 'normal' is a modern delay setting where the repeats are exactly the same. Whether you want to add vintage Gilmour-style delay to your solos or create more modern post-rock soundscapes this pedal can handle it all.
Pedalboard Friendly Size
The LED indicator is bright enough to be seen on the darkest of stages and the metal stop bar is really handy, preventing you from knocking the knobs with your foot whilst playing, as well as protecting them from any heavy-footed stomping.
The footprint of the APE-3 Pure Echo is minimal so it will fit on any board and requires a 9V power supply for operation. Included in the box is some 3M velcro hook and loop so you can stick it on your board straight away and get stuck in.
