When it comes to accomplishing that discernible, picky Paisley tone, this is the ideal overdrive pedal to do the job. Brad Paisley himself has teamed up with Brian at Wampler to help design and develop an overdrive pedal that could satisfy Paisley's sonic needs.
Brad had been using various Wampler pedals in his setup but he still hadn't quite been able to produce the overdrive tone that he was looking for. The Paisley Drive Overdrive has since achieved his desired drive tones, all encased in a resolute, compact stompbox.
The Paisley Drive features a reasonably simple controls setup, making it easy enough to adjust to suit your playing needs. The control dials for Volume, Tone and Gain are incredibly resourceful whether you're playing a Telecaster or a Strat; whichever humbucking electric guitar you've got you will be in for a treat.
In addition to the main control dials, Wampler have also included two toggle switches. One enables you to add Presence to your tone at the flick of a switch if you're looking for a brighter tone, while the Mid Contour switch adjusts all the mid-range tones. Brad himself is apparently keen on playing with both switches down, however you can tweak the controls to achieve the overdrive you want.
To power the pedal you can either use a 9V battery or a 9V DC power supply. It is a completely true bypass pedal which runs on high grade film capacitors and resistors for improved response and ultimately better sound delivery.
The Wampler Paisley Drive Overdrive Pedal is used by Mr Brad Paisley himself, and Wampler are confident that this will resolve any overdrive issues you might have encountered in the past, ensuring that whether you're recording in the studio or using it in your live pedalboard, the Paisley Drive is reliable and very versatile.
