The Yamaha HS5 Single Powered Studio Monitor incorporates "Room Control", which allows you attenuate the unnatural, exaggerated low-end frequencies that can unfortunately occur when the speakers are placed next to walls. Another feature is the polar opposite "High Trim" mode, which gives you greater control over high frequency response.
The Yamaha HS range is fitted with an XLR and 1/4" input, and is capable of accommodating a range of balanced and unbalanced sources that may include mixers, keyboards, audio interfaces, and anything else that feature XLR and TRS jacks.
