For players that want heavyweight sound and lightweight feel, the Yamaha RBX4 A2 Bass Guitar in a clean white finish is well worth your consideration. Sleek, funky and full of premium features, this has all that it takes to be your long-term 4-stringed friend.

Yamaha's AIR technology

The body of the RBX4 A2 Bass is crafted utilising Yamaha's excellent AIR technology. This method uses a lightweight wood core that is sandwiched between two heavier pieces of wood. Sound tubes are then inserted through the body so that the strings not only resonate the top, but the entire of the body giving you an incredibly distinctive and present sound.

The bolt on neck of the Yamaha RBX4 A2 Bass Guitar is created with a single piece of maple that promotes a clear top-end sound and stays faithful to the lightweight ethos of the RBX4 A2. A rosewood fretboard adorns the neck complete with 24 frets and looks just as clean as it plays.

Sound technology

The Yamaha RBX4 A2 has 2 single-coil pickups, one in the middle position and one in the bridge position. These capture the full tone produced by string, body and neck resonance. This is the controlled via the 2 master volume and master tone controls.

The real party piece of the Yamaha RBX4 A2 is in it's control illumination system. Not only do the silver finished controls look good lit up with the green, blue and red LED's, but they also indicate levels via the amount of brightness they produce, practical and cosmetically beneficial too!

Other features that make the Yamaha RBX4 A2 so appealing are the die-cast tuners that work in harmony with the A.I.R. mounting system bridge for rock-solid tuning and a resonant, consistent sustain. At this price, the Yamaha RBX4 A2 Bass Guitar holds some incredible features that are sure to impress.

Posted on 17/03/2019 by The bass is very lightweight and provides a very good sound whatever the genre. The only thing that makes it a 4 star is that they aren't the most durable and I know it wasn't me being clumsy because it is my prized possession. 100% worth the money though.
