Zoom have designed the innovative MS-50G to offer you a complete guitar effects processor all in one solid, compact multistomp pedal. Offering a combination of effects and amp modelers, the MS-60G has everything you need to enhance your sound without needing lots of different pedals to achieve it.
The MS-50G has a total of 55 different guitar effects available to choose from, all in this one single stompbox. With such an array of choice you can save a lot of room on your pedalboard. Zoom have split these effects up into easy-to-use categories: Dynamics / Filter, Overdrive / Distortion, Amp models, Modulation / Special Effects, and Delay / Reverb. With this diverse collection of effects and amp models you have a universe of brilliant tones, from the classic to the modern, all at your fingertips to revitalise your guitar.
The MS-50G is very well-designed to improve usability onstage or in the studio. It has a 1/4 inch input jack which enables you to use the pedal with either active or passive guitars, while the dual 1/4 inch output jacks give you the option to record using the effects from the MS-50G.
Use up to 6 different guitar effects at the same time in any order you like. The Zoom MS-50G features 50 patch memories for storing your own custom or chained multi-effects, while there are also 30 already pre-loaded onto the pedal. The pedal also has a very convenient Auto Save function for any of your sound edits, plus you can make up to 26 patches of your own. Just use the footswitch to run through the patches in your desired order.
The pedal has a large backlit LCD screen with contrast control to make it easy to read, even in a dark venue. This is a handy tool when you come to use the onboard chromatic tuner. This supports a wide range of various tunings including standard, open and drop tunings.
The Zoom MS-50G pedal comes supplied with two AA alkaline batteries, and it can also be powered by rechargeable NiMH batteries or an AC adapter (not included). When you connect to the pedal it will automatically start up, however if you have not used it for some time then its handy Power Management function will switch the pedal off to save battery life.
When powering the pedal using two AA alkaline batteries, it can last up to 7 hours, giving you plenty of practice and play time. The MS-50G also has a USB port which can recharge the pedal as well as being able to update the firmware.
The Zoom MS-50G gives you the potential to have your own trademark live rig setup, all without taking up much room on your pedalboard.
