This is a vinyl LP pressing of Life Under The Gun by Militarie Gun. The American hardcore punk band released their debut album on June 23, 2023, via Loma Vista Recordings. Militarie Gun was formed in 2020, comprising of frontman Ian Shelton (of Regional Justice Center), guitarists William Acuña and Nick Cogan, bassist Waylon Trim and drummer Vince Nguyen.

The album received positive reviews from critics upon its release. NME rated the album 4 out of 5 stars, writing that it "transcends the limits of what hardcore can be in 2023, leading with a melodic approach that can open the wider scene up to a whole new audience". Alternative Press also included Life Under The Gun as part of a their unranked list of "the top 25 albums of the year to date".
